On September 29,1981 my mom Firoella Salas was born in Lima, Peru and my mom is the second oldest one in her sister. On September 15, 1977 my dad Carlos Oliva was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and my dad has a brother and they are twins.
On June 1, 2000 my mom decided to go to the United States because she wanted a better life. Also my mom wanted the American dream so she decided to come to the U.S.A. My mom is the second one from her sisters to come to the U.S.A. On 1988 my dad and my uncle decided to come to the U.S.A. because they wanted a better life. Both of my parents came to the United States by plane.
The decision to come to the United States of America was hard for my mom because she was leaving her family that was in Peru. But coming to the United States was for a better life and that was what my mom wanted. It was also hard for my dad because he was also leaving his from El Salvador. But it is hard to leave your family behind and start a new life at a different place where you don't know much about. But for my mom her oldest sister Aida was here already because she also wanted a better life.
On August 20, 2002 my parents got married in a church because they are religious and they wanted to get married at a church . When my parents got married my mom was 21 years old and my dad was 25. They were happy that they got married because they loved each other.
Few months after my parents were married I Gabriel Oliva was born on November 14,2002. My parents took care of me very well and they loved me so much. Three years past and I was going to turn 5 years old then my little sister Ashley Oliva was born on October 6,2005 and I was so happy that I had a sister. I took care of my sister with so much love and love her a lot.
My mom has been in the United States of America for 19 years all ready and she is a citizen of this country. My dad has been in the United States for 31 years all ready and he is also a citizen of this country. I have been in the United States of America for 16 years and I am a citizen of this country. My sister has been here for 13 years and she is also is a citizen. Finally I really love my family and I am grateful for them.
