  • TITLE: "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell

  • Ship Trap Island
  • "No General Zaroff, I will not hunt" (Connell 73).
  • Day 3: One of Zaroff's best dogs runs into a hole that has stakes faced up inside of it and the hole is covered with weeds and branches, and it's called the Burmese tiger pit (Connell 78).
  • Day 2: A trap of Rainsford has a tree that falls on Zaroff's shoulder, wounding him (Connell 77).
  • Day 3: The Uganda Trap, which has Rainsford's knife attached to a springy young sapling by a grapevine, takes out Ivan, Zaroff's partner (Connell 78).
  • Option 2: He can elude and flee from Zaroff (Connell 78).
  • Option 1: He can just stay where he is and face off Zaroff (Connell 78).
  • Rainsford has two different options (Connell 78).
  • He decides to get away from Zaroff, so he ran for his life and jumped off a cliff into a sea below him (Connell 80).
  • Theme: Those who live by violence, die by violence.
  • Rainsford has won the game. He probably killed Zaroff and no he longer needs to hunt anymore (Connel 80).
