Regan won't treat you any better. Maybe you shouldn't have given away your kingdom.
Goneril becomes enraged with her father's actions and the number of servants he has. She demands, "Be then desired by her that else will take the thing she begs a little quantity your train, and reminders that shall still depend to be such men as may besort your age, which know themselves and you" (I.iv.243-247). He comes back by saying he will be leaving to go live with Regan.
King Lear sets to leave to go to live with Regan when a conversation is had with the fool. The fool criticizes Lear's poor decisions and actions and Lear call's upon the lord to keep him from going mad.
King Lear leaves for Regan's castle.
