While Uranus is a nice place i do not think i would want to live here. As a 14 year old robot i am 0.17 years old on this planet. That means no birthday party until 2087!
Another interesting fact that i bet you didn't know was that Uranus has rings! The only problem is that they are very hard to see as they are made of dust and black particles that reflect very little light.
Well Xan can tell you how they were discovered then.
The rings of Uranus were discovered in an observatory much like this one. Except the telescope they used was thousands of times more powerful.
The rings were discovered by astronomers James L. Elliot, Edward W. Dunham, and Jessica Mink on March 10, 1977
Uranus is also one of the most mysterious places in the solar system. In the history of humanity only ONE spacecraft has been sent to the planet. There is a lot we know and do not know about it. It just send shivers down my spine every time i think about what lurks in that planet.
Stop scaring yourself! you are not coming to my charging room in the middle of the night again! Scientist have yet to find no proof of life in the solar system besides Earth. Especially big sentient monsters or whatever your're thinking of!
Your right, sorry. Anyway, on the subject of life, some of Uranus moons might have water below the surface that could support life. All of the moons posses neither a magnetosphere nor an atmosphere. Uranus is a a system full of wonder. I do not now about you but i cant wait until a new craft goes there. Who knows what truly amazing things await.
We thank you for choosing star tours! Come back soon!
As a fun fact for the road, Uranus rotates on its side! Try to figure out why whenever you are bored! Until next time, good bye!
