  • Hey Vanessadid you know what is pH scale is? we have quiz to that topic today.
  • yes Knoe we have quiz today. oh pH scale is where it will help to determine the substance is a acid or a base.
  • hmm. I don't get it can you please give further examples about it?
  • yeah sure lets go to our classroom first before i explain it to you and give examples.
  • pH scale is numbered 0-14, and 7 is the neutral. when it is below 7 the substance is acidic and when it is above 7 it is base.
  • so what can you give example about pH scale?
  • the lower the number the more acidic. for example, substance A is pH6 and and B is pH1 therefore B is more acidic.
  • ok i almost get it what's another explanation and example.
  • yes it is. while base is opposite of acidic. the more higher the number it is more basic. example is substance A has a pH9 and B has pH14. substance B has a higher number so B is more Basic.
  • so it means that when pH is lower it will become more acidic ?
  • You're Welcome Knoe!! Goodluck for the Quiz!!
  • Thank you Vanessa for Explaining it more i appreciate it and now i can answer to the upcoming quiz. THANK YOU!!
