Storyboard Text

  • I wonder what Fractions are? Lets figure it out.
  • Hi, Im going to be telling you about fractions, about how they work, and what they are.
  •  A fraction is a numerical quantity that is not a whole number.
  • A fraction also represents a part of a whole or, more generally, any number of equal parts.
  • Now I am going to be telling you about how they work.
  • When you multiply Fraction you have to Multiply the numerators and denominators separately to get the result.
  • For example, when you multiply 1/2 and 1/3, you will get 1/6 (1 times 1 over 2 times 3). It's not necessary to find a common denominator when multiplying.
  • When you work out a fraction you convert the whole number fraction Convert the whole number to a fraction. Multiply the numerators and the denominators.
  • Well now we know all about Fractions, thanks for COMING!!
