  • The British are coming!
  • They're hiding supplies.
  • Get Them!!
  • Stand your ground!
  • Fire at will!
  • Let's burn it all!
  • Get them!
  • King George ignores the colonists' request for peace and tells General Gage to prepare for battle. The colonists think that the King is a tyrrant for doing this. General Gage hears from a spy that the Patriots are hiding a large supply of gunpowder and he wants to get it. Paul Revere goes to warn the minute men.
  • Hip-hip, hurray!
  • Minute men gather in the early morning to battle. "Stand your ground. If they mean to have a war, let it begin here," -Captain John Parker. The British troops greatly outnumber the Americans.
  • Yay!
  • The British arrived at Concord but found that the Americans had already moved their supplies. They, out of their anger, burn the rest of their things. The minute men fire upon the British when they see them.
  • The British easily defeat the militia at Lexington.
  • The colonist win at Concord and they don't lose their supplies. The Americans also prove that they are strong enough to fight and this is the first battle of the Revolutionary war.
