  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Misha doesn't know who she is as a person. She is labeled as shy at the village and people gossip about what happened to her parents. She feels lost.
  • Climax
  • Misha is a 16 year old girl who lives in Northern Canada. Her parents disappeared last year and she has no memory of what happened. She lives by herself in a cabin in a village. There is not much modern technology there.
  • Falling Action
  • Misha gets really angry at the people in village and in her anger, runs into the woods, where no one else enters. Before she can realize where she went, she sees a huge brown bear. Strangely, the bear begins to talk. Misha stays with the bear for three days. Then, he tells her that he needs help.
  • Resolution
  • The only way the bear could be saved was if he slept for three days, for he had never slept. Misha was scared because she had to protect the bear, her friend. It was in that moment that she realized that she didn't have to be what others labeled her, she could be brave , or whatever else she wanted.
  • When the bear awoke from his slumber, he had turned into a boy. Misha nursed him back to health. He told her that he had no memory of his human life. He only knew how to become one again.
  • When Misha returned to the village, she didn't care what the other villagers thought of her. She now had a companion. She would stay with her new friend now.
