This storyboard does not have a description.
Emmett Till heads to Bryant's Market while visiting relatives in Money, Mississippi.
Inside the market, Till buys a piece of gum from Carolyn Bryant, the owner.
Bryant goes home to complain to her husband, Roy Bryant, that a black man (Till) had whistled at her sexually.
At night, Bryant's husband and her brother, J.W. Milam, beat up and kill Till at a nearby railroad track.
Bryant's husband and her brother were put on trial against the mother of Till, but walked off scot-free. However, they soon both died of cancer.
This event sparked a great civil rights movement, supporting the cause of equality.
