  • The galapagos tortise lives in the grasslands. The grasslands are very grassy and wet.The galapagos tortise lives in there tough shell.
  • The galapagos tortise uses it's saddleback shell to grab its food from higher ground. They eat cactus,fruit,flowers,leaves and grasses.
  • The galapagos tortise is up o 6 feet and 4 to 5 feet long and the average bed is 6.25 feet long. The top of the shell of a tortise is called the carapace; the shell that covers a tortise's  belly is called the plastron.  by: Joseph
