  • He doesn't want to hang out with me
  • This is when their father is dying and they are all in the hospital with him.
  • The main character's brother gets a girlfriend but he spends all his time with her and not any with him.
  • This leads him to become so angry that when his brother calls for a pass in their basketball game, he throws it at his face and makes his nose bleed.
  • This is important because he realizes that his brother will have less time for him because he now has a girlfriend.
  • This will effect him later in the book when he gets angry
