  • The four lovers are angry at each other, caught up in the midst of all the love chaos. Lysander outdoes himself by challenging Demetrius to a fight and using derogatory terms to describe Hermia.
  • After the argument has blown over, the four Athenians are sleeping. Puck comes to put the magic flower juice on Lysander's eyes in order to remedy the chaos.
