Storyboard Description

A game that teaches players about mythological creatures, their strengths, weaknesses, and what they look like.

Storyboard Text

  • Opening/Beginning
  • Travel/First Destination
  • Town/Arrival
  • Players are presented with two characters that they go on a journey with. The two characters talk about their backgrounds, and give you a few items to start off with. They have to navigate around the camp site for the items. 
  • Finding the Creature
  •  The player and the characters all go on a trip to their first adventure together. In the car they talk about the case and the two characters gives the player the case folder and another item of reference. 
  • Defeat the Creature
  • They all arrive in town and start the investigation. There are clues hidden around town and each clue comes with a description as to what it is and refers to a part in the resource given to learn more about it. 
  • Ending
  • All three characters completed their research and now must defeat the monster. Using what the player has learned about the monster, they use that to their advantage to defeat the monster and save the other two characters. 
  • The creature has been defeated and the two characters quiz the player on what they have learned about the creature. Then, if pass the quiz they accept the player's request to continue to the next case. Each case gets harder in difficulty and more information is added to the resources. if the player fails however, then they must repeat the case. 
  • After a long and daunting journey with the two characters, the player fights one last battle using every resource they gained, and taking quick quizzes in between battles until the war is won. When the war is complete, the player returns home for a long over due vacation. Until the next time the two characters call them up for their help yet again.
