Scene 1: Banquo reveals his suspicion and hope that he could be the root and father of many kings. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth greet him to their home. They both welcome him and make him feel at home.
Scene 1: Now that Macbeth has authority over Banquo it seems that their conversations are stiffened. Their conversations lack friendliness as one of them worry about the other.
Scene 1: King Macbeth is the one who worries. He is king and as he is king he watches his throne. "To be thus is nothing, but to be safely thus" he said. Macbeth fears banquo because of his fearlessness.
Scene 1: Macbeth convinces and motivates the two of the individuals that are considered the murders. Macbeth states that Banquo is the cause to all their problems. He also questions their manhood and explains he cant do the deed himself as he would lose the loyalty of mutual friends and Banquo's.
Scene 1 : Macbeth remains innocent as he doesn't have any of the dirty work on his hands. However, this show's his weakness because he cant face his enemy himself. This show's his cowardice and indicates his political power.
Scene 2: Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both question their security. Macbeth states that murdering brings nothing but fear and worry. Macbeth also states that Duncan is living in peace as he is dead. Meanwhile Macbeth is suffering as his life sucks.
