Storyboard Text

  • Have you ever seen a teen spend so much time on their phone and not as much time in the real world?
  • No, but I do know some reasons to not be on the phone all the time. The first reason that I have to say, is we don't spend enough time together in person.
  • A typical teen sends 2,000 texts a month and spends more than 44 hours per week in front of a screen. The other reason, is kids might mistake the word "friends" on their social media feeds for true friends.
  • You don't need someone to like your picture or share your tweet, what you need is someone who will keep your secrets and hold your hand.
  • Connecting online is a great way to stay in touch.
  • Kids are so busy connecting online that they might be mine friendships.
  • Go spent some time interacting with friends and family instead of talking to them
