Storyboard Text

  • Katherine Barlow was the only teacher at Green Lake. She taught both children as well as adults.
  • Hello class!
  • One evening,at the schoolhouse,  while she was finishing with teaching the adults, Charles ''Trout'' Walker asked Katherine if she wanted to go on a boat ride. However, Miss Katherine quickly refused. Furious, he left.
  • No one says no to Charles Walker.
  • I believe I just did.
  • Sam agreed to fix the school so Katherine could give him a few jars of peaches.  After a whole semester of Sam fixing everything in the schoolhouse, Sam and Katherine fell in love. One late evening, while Katherine was crying sadly, Sam came in the schoolhouse and placed his hands on her's. They magically kissed. However, Hattie Parker was watching quietly from behind the window. She had to tell the whole town. She made very sure of that.
  • Oh Sam, my heart is breaking.
  • I can fix that.
  • God will punish you!!!
  • The following evening, a mob of townspeople  attacked Katherine, led by Trout Walker. They found their way into school, destroying everything in their path. Katherine hurried away to help save Sam.
  • Destroy the school!
  • There she is! The devil woman!
  • Unfortunately, Katherine was too late. Trout Walker and his team had killed Sam and his beloved donkey, Mary Lou. Ever since then, it has rained there for a hundred years.
  • Sam!
  • 20 years later......
  • 20 years later, the lake dried up.  Kissin' Kate Barlow was a famous outlaw. Kate decided that she wanted to go to Green Lake. One morning, Kate woke up to the noise of Trout Walker and Linda Miller. They grabbed her and demanded to tell them where she put her jewels.  They took her to the dried up lake. Unfortunately, Kate was bitten by a yellow-spotted lizard. As the Walkers begged to tell them where they are, she died laughing.
  • Where'd you put it! We're desperate!
  • Start digging!
  • Hehehehe
