I was walking through the forest one day, and stumbled upon a house. I knocked, and when no one answered, I let myself in.
On the table in the kitchen, there were three bowls of porridge. I was hungry, so I tasted the porridge from the first bowl. It was too hot! I tasted the second bowl, and it was too hot, too! Finally, I tasted the third bowl, and it was just right, and I ate it all up.
When I was done eating my breakfast, I was feeling a little tired. So I walked into the living room, where I found three chairs. I sat in the first chair to rest my feet. The chair was too big! So I sat in the second chair, and it was too big, too! So I sat in the third and smallest chair, and it was just right. But just as I settled back to rest, the chair broke into pieces.
By this time, I was very tired, so I went upstairs to the bedroom. I laid down in the first bed, but it was too hard. I laid down in the second bed, but it was too soft. I laid down in the third bed, and it was just right, so I fell asleep.
While I was sleeping, the three bears returned. They were angry with what I had done. They came upstairs and saw me in the beds, and I woke up, and screamed "Help!". I jumped up out of the bed, ran out of the room, down the stairs, opened the door, and ran away into the forest. I never returned to the home of the three bears again.
