One morning, Bill had to bring his car to the auto shop. This meant that it was inevitable that Bill would need to take the subway into work that day. This was not a problem because Bill loved different modes of transportation. However, Bill needed to find out which subway route he would need to use.
Of course, Bill should have been more diligent in trying to map his route. He knew about this for a whole week. Bill had the option to compromise with the mechanic and use a rental car, but decided he would use the subway since he rarely has that ability.
The subway arrived and Bill boarded it. He checked once more to make sure he was on the correct train. At this point, he felt that renting a car may have been a more prudent choice in this situation.
Bill knew that subways have been extremely prosperous, especially in cities. However, this experience changed his views on the people who designed these machines. He now had a deep reverence for them, as they were able to invent something that accelerated everyday life.
Bill took the same subway back home from work that day, and he compassionately bade farewell to the train driver. He decided that he would make a change in his routine. He would ride the subway everywhere he could around the area.
Bill benevolently donated his car to a family in need of one. This change in his life would not be subtle, as it would bring many changes for him. But he knew it was for the best. He was excited to start his faster, more advance lifestyle.
