- Clauses, can be complete sentences and also add description.
- hey, why do we need colons and semicolons?
- Semicolons are used to bond two statements. Colons are used to separate words into a list.
- Dependent clauses depend on the independent clause because they attach together. Otherwise, they are not complete sentences.
- A subordination conjunction begins a dependent clause.
- What's the point of a subordinating conjunction?
- That's not necessarily the case, i just don't know my music well.

- You can use a colon after a complete sentence to explain the sentence. For example: The marching band: left for the game, preformed their show, and went home.
- You can use a semicolon if you have two independent clauses. For example: The marching band should leave the field before the end of the game; so the fans can't destroy the instruments.
