  • Analysis: Lady Macbeth explains the deed is done, the dead will stay dead and we must continue the journey. She says you must hide your guilt and pretend nothing happened. Lady Macbeth becomes stronger and more willing to feel innocent

  • Analysis: The porter's joking reference to "Hell Gate" Macbeth's castle will be filled with scene of numerous hideous crimes. Once he opens the gate, all hell breaks loose.

  • Analysis: Filled with distressed and sadness, Macduff explains that someone has committed the most terrible sin of them all, the murder of the great royal highness.

  • Analysis: Banquo is suspicious of lady Macbeth, he says look to the lady who just fainted. Lady Macbeth is trying to create a distract.
  • Analysis: Macduff tries to figure out who did the murder. Macduff suspects the kings two children for the death of the king for the throne of Scotland
  • Analysis: The animals who are mankind's greatest friends and allies, begin to turn against their friends. The order in the universe has been broken
