Hello there! My name is Gavin Keoboupha, and I am here to talk about the water cycle! It starts off with Evaporation, or when the water turns into a vapor, because it absorbed the heat energy from the sun or when the sun calls the clouds to party! In matter of fact, evaporation is occurring right now!
As the water is evaporating, the water vapors have parties, and dance away, as more water vapors join the party, and form bigger and bigger clouds. This is called Condensation. Depending on the temperature, this party can be joined by Snow flakes or water vapor (fog). This is so fun!
Once the party gets too full and the temperature changes along with wind, the host of the party (the cloud) kicks everyone out. this is known as precipitation.
As the water droplets, are pouring down, some water drops are soaked into the ground, to get in line to wait for the sun to call them up again and join the fun party once again. They can also end up in places like the ocean and lakes. In order to get called by the sun, they first have to go through a plants body and then sit on its leave (photosynthesis). This is known as Transpiration.
This is another destination were the water drops go to when it rains, and the water drops go on a slip n slide to either a lake, ocean, or sea and enters the hydrosphere, were it waits to start off the water cycle once again. This is known as runoff. Runoff can also be when it snows, and then the snow melts and runs off into a stream.
With some water soaking into the ground, and some going down a slip n slide, these water drops are probably the luckiest out of the 3! These water droplets are soaked into the ground, kinda transpiration, but is soaked deeper into the ground to be stored. This is known as Infiltration. These are the luckiest of the lucky, because they are stored here for long periods of time, and party on! This water is also drinkable for humans, so its a win-win! That is basically the end of the water cycle, hope you enjoyed! The End.
