There are three new amendments. They are 211, 212, 213.
You are coming with us.
These amendments are created because the government wants all the people in the country to be equal. The amendments require people who are above average in any way to handicap themselves.
This is Harrison Bergeron!
Harrison is taken away from his parents because he was smarter, stronger, more athletic, and more handsome than the average person. The parents aren't really able to react, because their emotions are controlled by the government.
Now I am the Emperor, But I need my Emporiest.
Me, me I want to be your Emporiest!
The parents, Hazel and George, move on with their lives as if nothing has happened. Their thoughts are veered away from their son to whatever the government chooses for them.
In the meantime, Harrison Bergeron is sent to a jail because the government feels he is dangerous. He eventually escapes from the prison and runs away. A broadcast is made to share a picture and message about Harrison's escape. He is explained to be a very dangerous fugitive, and he should only be approached gingerly, with extreme caution.
Harrison goes to a congested auditorium where the ballerinas are dancing. He gets on stage, and he avowed that he is emperor because he is stronger, smarter, and better than many people. He then began a synchronized dance with a brave ballerina who steps up and takes off her handicaps with Harrison.
While they are dancing, a government worker came into the auditorium and tried to kill both Harrison and the ballerina. She shoots at them both because Harrison is a threat to the world. The government feels that he will try to stop people from following the laws that are in place.
