  • Join us, Austria, in the war with Denmark. If we win we will take Schleswig and you can take Holstein. If we do this right, this will be a quick war.
  • Peace Settlement
  • For this peace settlement, I declare Prussia with the land of Holstein and for you, Austria, to not interfere in affairs with other German states.
  • Manipulating the note
  • Wait until the people hear about this.

  • I declare war, Prussia!
  • Setting in 1866, after the provoked war with Austria (the Austro-Prussian War), Prussia defeated the Austrian Army. When leaked to the public, the french were furious and declared war on Prussia. The German Confederation had dissolved and the North German Confederation had formed. Prussia now controlled all German states north of the Main River just like Bismarck hoped.
  • Setting in July 30th, 1870, France. France declared war on Prussia like Otto Van Bismarck had hoped. He wanted to provoke a French attack in order to draw the southern German states into an alliance with Prussia. The war ended in France losing the Franco-Prussian War.
  • Just as I had hoped.
  • Setting in January 21, 1871, Palace of the Versailles. Prussia declared the German Empire and Prussian King Wilhelm took the crown as the German Emperor. The fact that King Wilhelm was crowned at this location insulted the French.
