This experiment is so confusing! Like I understand it, but I don't actually.
*The equipment set up (on the table)*
I AM MILLIKAN, THE SCIENTIST!
The girls are getting the equipment ready for the experimental setup. They are confused as to how to apply the equations Millikan used in his oil drop experiment, to their experiment in the present.
blah, blergh, blergh, blah blah... and atomisation etc. etc
The girls are frustrated. Celine turns on the radio, to destress and lift the mood of the room.
There is a voice that is coming out of the radio! The girls realise that it is Millikan, the scientist who conducted the experiment. He offers to help the girls in setting up the experiment and understanding the physics behind it.
Millikan carefully goes through the entirety of the experiment, saying step by step the how the mist of oils is electrically charged. He continues to talk about atomisation, and the gravity forces which pull the droplets upwards and downwards.
The girls understand how to conduct the experiment correctly, after Millikan's thorough explanation.
The girls successfully understand the experiment, with Millikan by their sides. They thank him, and he bids farewell.
