Radisson and des Groseillers brought their idea of traveling to the Hudson Bay to the French Governor.
I am not interested in finding this mysterious body of water you speak of!
Radssion and des Groseillers went to Britain because they found a group of merchants that were willing to pay for their traveling.
We'll help you pay for your travelling.
Radisson and des Groseillers sailed two ships but a storm forced Radissons ship to turn back. It was just des Groseilliers because his ship was able to pass through the storm and des Groseilliers and his crew made it to the vast waters of the Hudson Bay.
Thank goodness that we made it here safely!
We will meet here again in one year!
During the winter they traded with the local Cree an Innu.
During the summer they would return to England with all the furs they had collected.
We got lots of furs this time, hopefully we are this successful next time.
