Storyboard Text

  • You are going to leave this seat in the diner immediately before I call the cops!
  • Why can't I stay in this seat? I'm not causing anyone harm, and I thought we were moving towards equality.
  • You are under arrest for your failure to listen to authority. You piece of scum. Listen to whites. You are an inferior person.
  • You are convicted of disobeying white individuals and doing as you please. This is a serious charge and I find you guilty. You will spend the rest of your life behind bars.
  • Wow we can really get away with being discriminatory still, even with the "Separate but Equal" cry.
  • You're right! We can continue being superior and living better lives. We don't even have to associate with blacks.
  • Everyone! We need to stand up against this oppression. We aren't as equal as we should be. This needs to change. Stand with me and we will go against the whites, showing them violence.
  • All the violence in the world is getting too much! Of course there is racism and inequality, but there are better ways of dealing with it. Anyway, I'm going to get a job and register for voting.
  • Alright Booker, be safe out there your view on the world seems a little too optimistic.
