  • Scene 7
  • Scene 8
  • A majority of the participants did not know how to answer this question. This is probably why...
  • Scene 9
  • In-active versus Active
  • Have you seen something on TV that has changed your opinion on something?
  • Scene 10
  • Scene 11
  • June 2011 issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology by Dolores Albarracin and Ian Handley explores the effects of wanting to do something on your attitudes. This research suggests that wanting to do things makes it easier for you to think about your attitudes but harder to change them. The paper suggests that those who are inactive are more likely to be affected by information and will change their opinion without even knowing it (hence television).
  • Scene 12
  • Can you think of any negative influences on T.V.?
  • Have you bought anything because of an ad you saw?
