  • Odysseus is tied to the mass of the ship and still hears the sirens, this makes him the only person to hear the sirens and survive.
  • You will never take me!
  • Tiresias: Do not eat the cattle, you will need it to survive if you want to stay here.
  • Odysseus is not to eat the cattle if he wants to stay on the island and survive.
  • Do you have any advice for me to keep us alive.
  • Tiresias: The consequence for eating the cattle will leave you forever alone while the rest of your men die.
  • Odysseus will be alone if his men eat the cattle because they will all be killed.
  • Helios: if you or your men eat my cattle, I will not raise the sun every morning and it shall always be night.
  • Helios threatens Odysseus that if his cattle are consumed then he will not raise the sun in the morning.
  • Odysseus smells the burning meat and comes out to see his men eating the cattle.
  • We rather die like soldiers while fighting and strong than die out at sea weak and starving!
  • What have you done!!
  • Guess Im by myself now...But I shall return to my wife and child.
