When Tom leaves the room to go get cold drinks, Daisy kisses Gatsby and admits her love to him.
"You know I love you," she murmured.
Daisy's daughter walks in and she introduces Pammy to Nick and Gatsby. Gatsby never believed her child really existed because it represents her connection with Tom.
Gatsby tries to make Daisy tell Tom that she only loved him but she knows in her heart that she loved both of them. Gatsby and Tom start fighting so Daisy wants to go home.
"Tell him you love me! Tell him you never loved him!"
Tom, Jordan, and Nick ride in Gatsby's car while Daisy and Gatsby drive home in Tom's yellow car.
Daisy hits Myrtle with Tom's yellow car but Tom accuses Gatsby for killing his mistress.
"Was Daisy driving?"
Gatsby is taking the blame for the accident so Daisy is protected.
"Yes,"..."but of course I'll say I was."
