Theres your spendy dress hun.
A middle classed lady and man in the late 1800's is introduced in the story.
Oh no I lost the neclace!!
The middle classed lady wanted more than what she had at the time. She gets invited to a party were there were many priviledged women and she wanted to fit in.
So, the husband made a compromise and bought her an expensive dress becasue she didnt feel like she was enough for the party without expensive looking clothing. Not only that, but she also borrowed an "expensive" diamond necklace from a friend.
You made me poor!!
She had a blast at the party and was admired by the wealthy women there as well. But then she lost the necklace that her friend lended to her.
She used all the money that she could to buy a very similar one and it turned out to be a success. After many years of hard labor and it made her look run down and not as pretty.
Now i have to make a loan to pay back for the neclace.
She then spots her used-to-be friend and she tells her that she is the reason that she looks less "pretty" because the neckalace caused her a great deal of work and caused her to be a little washed up. And in the end the necklace actually ended up being fake.
