As Jeffrey, mom and I walk past shops in town, we soon come across a bare, green park. We stop near this park and ask a woman to take our picture. As we pose in front of the park bench, everything begins to slow down.
Before I can say a thing, I realize that my hair is beginning to glow. Jeffrey looks at me like I've grown a second head as my mom throws a sweatshirt at me, which I throw on immediately.
We quickly walk to a new place, away from the woman who had seen what was happening to my hair. When I finally feel the warmth going away, I feel safe enough to take the jacket off.
What in the heck was that?
Everything slowed down. I felt like I could see and hear things that I shouldn't be able to.
Well, what exactly were you feeling?
That's called Glory. You can use it to do many things, but it often scares humans. They feel like they are seeing their worst nightmare.
