  • Boston Tea Party (1773)
  • Declaration of Independence (1776)
  • Declaration of Independance
  • Lexington and Concord (1775)
  • British Parliment set many laws and taxes to punish Massachusetts. So in protest men from Boston pushed 348 chests of tea from a British Ship into the Boston harbor.
  • In what seemed to be the end of the Revolutionary War, Continental Congress got together to sign one of the most important papers in US history; the Declaration of Independence. This meant they were free of England's hold.
  • When British soldiars marched towards Lexington they got stopped by minute men .After the fight at Lexington there was another in Concord. Both battles resulted in 273 dead and a start of a revolution.
