"Steve he knows well enough not to escape like that"
"Savannah you have to shut the gate, or Francis will get out."
Savannah and her brother Steve have agreed to watch their grandmother's house while she was away in Vegas. She lives in a nice retirement community right outside Myrtle Beach. She also left Savannah to be in charge of her pet chicken Francis.
When they arrived at the house, Savannah didn't close the front gate. Steve warned her Francis would escape. Savannah paid no attention to her brother as she thought Francis knew better than to run off.
"I HATE CHICKENS! GET OUT VARMINT!"
Steve got a tropical storm warning on his phone and advised Savannah to bring Francis inside. When Savannah went back outside she looks in horror as Francis is no where to be found. Savannah thought to herself she should have just did what Steve said and closed the gate. Steve was going to go out and look for Francis, until he realized he'd have to drive a golf cart in the rain. Savannah then hurried to the golf cart and started looking without Steve.
Savannah was driving the golf cart in the rain. Because she was frantically looking for Francis, she wasn't paying attention to driving and she crashed the golf cart into a deep mud puddle. Savannah thought about her situation and eventually figured out a way to get her golf cart out of the mud.
Right before she started driving again, She heard an old mans voice yell "get out varmint." She turned to see Old Man Joe found Francis in his yard. With a dour look on his face he chucked Francis onto the road, right in front of Savannah. Savannah ran over and got Francis in his cage.
Savannah arrived back at the house with Francis safe inside.
