As Ava and I get ready for our homecoming dance, we listen to music while doing our hair and makeup.
When the girls and I finished getting ready, we decided to put our shoes on. When I opened the shoe box, I realized I had two left shoes! I gaped at the fact that I now had no shoes to wear to the dance.
My heart dropped. It was almost time to leave and I had nothing to wear! Everyone was rushing me and stressing me out. Ava and Rylie were even heading out the door without me! I didn't know what to do.
I ran upstairs into Ava's room. I threw the shoes and box across the room. I started screaming and crying. My whole night had been ruined because I had two left shoes! "At this point I don't even want to go to the dance! I cried."
Just then, Mrs. DeMore came into Ava's room to comfort me. She took me into her room where she showed me a pair of her own shoes that she was willing to let me borrow. I thanked her so much. She saved my whole night. I was then able to attend the homecoming dance!
I finally made it outside, just in time for pictures. When pictures were over, we made it to the dance. We danced, ate food, and had a great time overall. Homecoming was a success!
