  • King Amulius ordered soldiers to throw twin babies named Romulus and Remus into Tiber River.
  • A wolf found them, brought them to shore, and looked after them.
  • Later, a Shepherd found them and took it upon himself to raise the two boys.
  • Since King Amulius wanted the twins dead, Romulus and Remus killed him and decided to take over his kingdom.
  • Romulus and Remus got in an argument and Romulus ended up killing Remus
  • Romulus named the city “Roma” after himself and is now what we know as today, the Roman Empire.
