Reagan used ethos in his speech by quoting many different credible people like William Penn, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and more. This backed up his own credibility in order for the audience to trust what he was saying.
Reagan effectively used logos in his speech by explaining a survey that had been done about the religious people in America. This is statistical evidence that backs up his speech.
Reagan excellently used pathos throughout his speech in order for the audience to have the mutual feeling of unity. He used encouraging words in order to bring the American people together.
