World War 1 led to the Russian Bolshevik Revolution due to a great loss of money and land which was unpopular with Russian families. Led by communist leaders wich aim was to throw down the Tzar.
World War One led to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, which led to the rise of Palestine, Turkey, and others.
The victory in World War 1 led to the Great Depression. In response to this, President Roosevelt came up with The New Deal. The New Deal involved a lot more socialist thinking, it implemented public spending, minimum wage and a basic income for unemployed people. Basically, the government got a lot more involved.
The Great Depression affected Latin America greatly since their economy was based on exporting raw goods and importing manufactured goods. This led to little profit and a collapse in their economies. To fix this, the started to keep their raw goods and manufacture them domestically, skipping the middle man. This was done through the industrialization of the countries, which was later knwon as import substitution industrialization.
In Scandinavia, in response to the Great Depression, democratic socialism was implemented to gain economic stability.
