Aztec Capital City Tenochtitlan
This storyboard does not have a description.
The Aztec City called Tenochitian existed at about 1325 and 1521. A.D. They built the city following a legend...
The legend said that the middle of the lake was an island. On that island was a cactus, on the cactus, was an eagle, in that eagleś mouth was a snake. If the person were ever to see this, the city is to be built there.
On this flag is a representation of what the legend looks like.
They even expanded the city using logs and mud, building caseways, bridges, and floating gardens too!
The Aztecs managed to expand their land to 2,500 acres! It is uncertain what they used to complete this, but it is extraordinary to think about it.
The city is truly amazing. It was construct without any iron or wood tools. They had a wheel, but it was a kid´s toy. It was never used for actual use.
