When Moses led Jewish people from Egyptian rule to their promise land of Israel in their Exodus, Israel became their history.
Jewish people view Israel as their homeland, as they have many religious connections, such as Jerusalem the Holy City, which they face during prayer.
You are prohibited from returning to Israel
If Palestinians refugees living in the surrounding territories return to Israel to reclaim land, people fear it will be the end of Israel as a Jewish state.
During the 1948 Palestinian exodus many fled their homes and became refugees in neighboring states, counting on the promise of their right to return when the war was over.
Palestinian refugees have an non-negotiable right to return to their homeland. But Israel continues to violate this law, as they are refused access.
Palestine refugees want to return to Israel, as they miss their family. And no longer want to stay in overcrowded camps while their rightful homes and lands are occupied.
