Storyboard Text

  • There are too many of the Israelite people. All Israelite baby boys shall be thrown to the alligators.
  • My brother will be safe now.
  • You poor thing!
  • Moses you are now Prince to Egypt, alongside your brother Ramesses.
  • I thank you Pharaoh.
  • When Moses was born, the Israelites were  slaves to the Egyptians. Pharaoh was afraid of that eventually they would overthrow him, so he ordered that all Israelite baby boys should be killed at birth, so they don't grow up and fight against him.
  • Am I really an Egyptian?
  • When Moses' mother heard about what the Egyptians were going to do to the Israelite baby boys, she put Moses in a basket, and sent him down a river. The Queen of the Egyptians then found Moses in the water, and decided to take him in, as her own.
  • What have I done?!
  • Moses was declared Prince by the Pharaoh.
  • Moses, tell Pharaoh to let my people go!
  • Moses grew up an Egyptian prince, but he never forgot that he was truly an Israelite.
  • One day Moses lost his temper and killed an Egyptian who had beaten an Israelite slave almost to death.
  • Moses ran away as far as he could, into the desert. God spoke to him from a burning bush and told him he must go back and free the Israelites from slavery.
