We have found the problem - Joe's stomach responds negatively to dairy! This means he is lactose intolerant has liquefied poop (diarrhea) and his stomach feels bigger.
Since we've found the problem, we can see how everything happened!
After your stomach, the food is broken down more as it travels down the small and large intestine, and eventually you poop it out! The parts of the small intestine are the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. The flow of the large intestine is the ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon
Through these main organs, our bodies digests our food.
First the food goes in your mouth and is chewed (Mastication) to be able to go down the throat into your stomach. There, the stomach turns your food into a substance called chyme.
These organs are apart of the Accessory Canal, they aren't the main part of digestion but help a lot.
The liver takes in nutrients and releases bile, a liquid that breaks down fats.
The pancreas helps digestion continue, it also makes and releases pancreatic juices.
The gallbladder holds and builds up bile so that it can be used later.
There are 3 salivary glands and they help digestion by making saliva, and salivary amylase breaks starts into sugars.
1. Break down food 2. Move food and waste through the body 3. Take in nutrients
