As Joe and Abby begin their adventure on the Oregon trail, they encounter many physical barriers that they were not prepared for. The mountains and rivers seem impossible for the carriage Joe and Abby had brought along with them.
So many people have died already on this trip. That is the fifth person who died from the disease today. What if we die next Joe. I'm so scared.
No Gloria, don't die!
Numerous people have died along the Oregon Trail. Many have died from all kinds of diseases.
Unfortunately, while crossing the river, one of the cows got injured and was unable to cross.
That was one of our precious cattle Abby, what do we do?
Depsite their loss in precious cattle, Joe and Abby continued on with the Oregon trail with mourn and grief. Nearing the end of their journey, they luckily ran into some Native Americans to trade with.
However, the Native Americans had ended up stealing all Joe and Abby' cattle and supplies at night while they were sleeping. Luckily, Joe and Abby were nearing the end of the Oregon trail.
Those sneaky Native Americans! To think that they were going to trade with us. How foolish of me!
Regardless of the illnesses, physical barriers, and the hostile interactions with the Native Americans, Joe and Abby were able to persevere and arrive. Joe and Abby were overjoyed and ecstatic to start their new life in the west.
