  • John Locke
  • Hello, my name is John Locke and welcome to my TED Talk!
  • I was born in 1632 in Britan and died in 1704.
  • I wrote many things, including 'An Essay Concerning Human Understanding' and 'The Second Treatise of Government'.
  • In 1666, I became Lord Ashley's physician. Which led me to, in 1668, organize a successful operation that saved his life and changed history.
  • Three natural rights (rights that they are born with): Life (the right to live), liberty (being free from any superior being on Earth), and property (the right to your own property).
  • From 1696 to 1670, I was the most influential person on The Board of Trade. I also was the first person to tell people about their natural rights.
  • My name is John Locke and thank you for listening to my T.E.D. talk!
