A lot of people believe that family income has a large role in determining whos going to succeed in school.
This however, is only partially true.
Yes, wealth will allow you to go to school with better teachers. Wealth cannot however, buy you parents who want to see you succeed.
The most important factor in determining whether or not I get a good education is in whether or not my parents are willing to help me.
This isn't to say that you cant get a good education without your parents help but that it would greatly improve the probability of success.
Success in education is driven by the dedication of the individual striving for it, as well as, those who seek to support that individual. There successfulness is not determined by the amount of money in their pockets.
