What do you think we'll learn today in chemistry?
I don't really know but I love the subject
The teacher said something about petroleum and its origin.
Yeah, I remember. I'm so excited to learn about it.
Do you guys know what is petroleum?
Hi, welcome to chemistry class!
Petroleum is a thick, flammable, yellow-black mixture of gaseous, liquid, and solid hydrocarbons that occurs naturally beneath the earth's surface.
This organic matter was gradually covered with thick sediment layers, in which, under certain conditions of pressure, temperature and time, it was slowly transformed into hydrocarbons with small amounts of sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen, and metals, whose mixture constitutes crude oil.
Very good Stella! The most accepted theory of the origen of petroleum is the organic theory that supposes that it was originated by the decomposition of the rest of animals accumulated in the bottom of the lagoons.
This was the best class ever! I didn't know about the origen of petroleum!
I know, I didn't like chemistry until know !
