  • Boston Massacre 1770
  • Don`t Shoot!
  • Boston Tea Party 1773
  • Stamp Act 1765
  • Lets tax the colonists.
  • Several soldiers stationed in front of the Custom`s house.  Boston people got into a argument with the soldiers and eventually they shot their guns.  As a result five colonists died.  I think this help to start a war because the soldiers killed innocent people.
  •  Quartering Act 1765
  • The tea act forced colonists to only buy tea from England.  They were made because they had no voice to make the law and they had no freedom of what to drink.  As a result they threw millions of dollars of tea into the ocean.  I think this helped start a war between the colonists and England because England was taking advantage of the Colonists.
  • Intolerable Acts 1774
  • The English taxed goods to pay for the French and Indian war debt.  The colonists had no voice in the law either.  The colonists got mad and they rebelled and it eventually got removed.  I think this helped start a war because the colonists helped fight in the war but they got nothing good in return.
  • Lexington And Concord 1775
  • No!
  • Can the colonists have less taxes?
  • King George the 3rd sent thousands of soldiers to the colonies to enforce the proclamation and to keep peace.  I think this helped start a war because the colonists had to house the solders and the colonists believed they were there to control not to protect.
  • The town of Boston and the Boston legislative were no longer allowed to meet.  The Boston port was closed to all business and military rule was placed and the colonists had to house them.  As a result the colonists could no longer govern themselves and they had to house the solders.  Also they couldn't sell anything at the ports.  I think this help start the war between the colonists and England because the colonists started to feel like they were controlled.
  • Parliament rejected every request made by the first continental congress and British solders.  The colonists offers were declined and then the British started invading the colonies.  The minute men were ready to defend their city and that is when the revolution began.
