The ruler finds out about Joseph's gift and asks him to interpret his own dreams. Joseph finds out about a famine that will come in 7 years-time and the ruler is grateful for the warning.
Joseph is spoiled with slaves and riches as he is put in charge with helping prepare for the famine he predicted.
The famine comes and people are coming to Joseph for help. One group are his brothers and they come begging to Joseph not knowing that he is their long lost brother. Joseph realizes who they are and is still furious. The only brother he ever loved was Benjamin so he orders them to bring him to him whilst holding another brother hostage. The group are still unaware that it's Joseph.
When Benjamin is bought back to Joseph, he sends them home with heaps of food. But then he interupts them half way through their trip with a trap as revenge. When they are brought back to the household that Joseph now lives in, thinking that they are going to be imprisoned or excecuted, Joseph tells them who he really is and lets them go.
The word gets back to their father that Joseph is alive and they are reunited and Jacob is happy again.
Joseph marries Asenath and live happily ever after.
