- I'm going away. I'm going to give you each some money. I would like you to make a profit of it by the time I come back
- There once was a man who was very wealthy. He was going to go on a long journey so he called 3 of his most trusted friends. He gave the first friend 5 bags full of cash. He gave the second friend 2 bags full of cash and he gave the last fried 1 bag full of cash.
- The man who got the 5 bags bought a house, and with the rent he gained five more bags.

- The man that got 2 bags bought a cow and with the milk received 2 more bags.
- The last man locked the bag of cash in a safe and did not invest in it in any way.
- When the wealthy man came back he asked to see the investments. The first man gave back 10 bags. The wealthy man was pleased. The second man gave back 4 bags. The wealthy man was pleased.
- The last man gave back one bag. The wealthy man replied You wicked, lazy friend ! you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘So he took the bag of cash from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.
