Principle #1: Genetic Variation- There are Orange spotted leopards and Black leopards in the population.
Principle #2: Overproduction/ Struggle for Existance- Two to Three cubs are born from a single leopard. Leopards struggle to survive because of being hunted by humans for their fur. Black leopards are also mistaken for black panthers which are not endangered like the leopard.
Principle #3: Differential survival and Reproduction- Orange leopards reproduce more often as they are more common although they are hunted more. Black leopards are not common so less black leopards reproduce as there aren't many of them.
Principle #4: Change in the Gene Pool- The population of orange leopards will increase as they are more common. The black leopard population will decrease as there are few of them and are also hunted mistakenly.
