A servant which had a grudge on the Queen sold her out. Athene say the problem and convinces all the gods, all save one, to help Odysseus. She disguises her self to look like a friend and convinces Telemachus to search for father. They plot against Telemachus. Telemachus goes to see the king, Menelaus.
With Penelope, the suitors were eager to marry and become king. She accepted and said she would choose a suitor after she finishes her linen.
She'd work on the linen all day but come night when the suitors return to their own homes, she would undo all the work. This kept up until a maid that held onto a grudge sold her out.
